By accessing or using Lumen ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

Lumen is a nutrition tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to help you log meals, track your nutrition, and achieve your health goals. The Service provides:

• AI-powered meal logging through photos and voice input
• Nutritional analysis and macro tracking
• Weight tracking and progress monitoring
• Personalized nutrition insights and recommendations
• Data visualization and analytics

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Maintain the security of your password and account

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it. You agree not to submit content that:

Lumen uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional information from meal photos and descriptions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated nutrition estimates may not be 100% accurate and should be used as approximations only.

You acknowledge that:

• Nutrition estimates are approximations and may contain errors
• You should verify nutritional information for critical dietary needs
• Lumen is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated data
• The Service should not replace professional nutrition advice

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lumen and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@sharpened.cc. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request, subject to legal retention requirements.

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Lumen does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
• Any errors or omissions in content or any loss or damage incurred from use of content
• Decisions made based on AI-generated nutrition estimates

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lumen and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your User Content

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumen operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect through email notification or a prominent notice in the Service.

By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
